The Buffalo Bills are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL this season.
Coming off another loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason, Buffalo is gearing up to take another shot at the kings of the AFC.
Many media personalities, including Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd, think highly of the Bills heading into the season opener.
Cowherd released his final “Herd Hierarchy,” power rankings before the season begins and Buffalo found themselves at No. 2, trailing only the reigning Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles.
“I think the world’s best football player is Josh Allen, so I’ll put Buffalo at two,” Cowherd said. “Buffalo and their division, should go 2-0 against Miami and 2-0 against the Jets. I think their quarterback is able to extend plays and elevate teammates like no one else in the league can do.”
Cowherd shares the same sentiment as many other media personalities and outlets, as nearly all of them have Buffalo ranked somewhere in the 1-5 range in power rankings.
The world will get a good look at Buffalo in Week 1, as it will welcome in the Baltimore Ravens for what has the potential to be one of the best games of the entire season.
The two teams met in Week 4 last season and that game was the worst loss of the season for the Bills. They were boat-raced 35-10 by Baltimore on Sunday Night Football.
Buffalo eventually got its revenge with a 27-25 victory in the postseason. It’s always a fun time when the two teams meet up and Week 1 will tell us a lot about both teams and the directions they are headed this season.
