An inmate at a California prison has become a favorite of the public following reports that the prisoner assaulted Graciela Bustamante, a woman charged with torturing and killing her 8-year-old stepdaughter Genesis Mata, according to a report.

Strangers have maxed out the commissary account of Anita Doron, an inmate at Lerdo Jail, with cash donations after she allegedly beat the daylights out of Bustamante on Aug. 8, telling local outlet KBAK that the wicked stepmother had it coming.

“I would definitely do it again,” Doron told the outlet.

“Some of the girls had seen her not taking it too seriously. She had come back from court, and she was laughing and giggling and stuff, and they were just like, ‘Why, what’s funny?’”

“When you’re faced with someone that’s gross and has no remorse, you kind of don’t want to deal with it because you don’t want to take it to where you want to take it.”

Little Genesis was found dead in a motel bathroom on Aug. 2 with injuries indicating she had been burned with hot water, beaten and whipped, according to reports.

Doron told the outlet she has a cousin named Genesis who is 10 years old, and added that torturous abuse allegations triggered bad memories of foster care and the Child Protective Services.

“When it comes to the foster system and the CPS system, just, we gotta get these kids. It’s really serious what’s going on with these children,” Doron told the outlet.

“This is really an epidemic that’s going on with kids, and it’s disgusting, but something needs to be done.”

Bustamonte was hospitalized after the attack, though details are not known.

After news of the smackdown spread, Doron’s commissary account was flooded with heaps of donations, according to KGET.

Officials stated that her account exceeded the maximum allowable transactions, the outlet reported.

Doron is being held on charges related to evading an officer and stealing a vehicle, to which she pleaded no contest.

She is being held on $70,000 bail, KGET reported.

Both Bustamante and her husband, Ray Mata Jr., were charged in the grisly torture death of their Genesis, according to the outlet
