PHOENIX — A leading vacuum technology company is nearly finished constructing a new service center in Tempe, the city announced Thursday.
A subsector of the wider Busch Group, Busch Vacuum Solutions expects its latest center to be open in October.
The almost 60,000-square-foot building is designed to handle vacuum repair and will offer overpressure items from every major brand, including turbo molecular pumps, leak detectors and other valves and accessories.
It will be “a key regional hub” for Busch Group’s operations in the southwestern U.S.
Tempe Mayor Corey Woods said in the release that the vacuum leader coming to the Valley “speaks to the strength of Arizona’s semiconductor ecosystem.”
“The new Tempe service center will create skilled employment opportunities, strengthen business partnerships and keep Tempe at the forefront of high-tech growth and excellence,” Woods said. “We are grateful to Busch Group for selecting Tempe as the location for its Southwest service hub and look forward to supporting their continued success.”
The service center will create a batch of jobs for the local community and add to the more than 1,200 already in the U.S.-based Busch Group fold.
