Summary

  • The new trailer for Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 is out now
  • It hints at a dark new mystery, a prophecy, and a campus stalker
  • The trailer also teases Lady Gaga’s debut as a new character

Netflix has released the official trailer for Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 has been released, providing a first look at the final four episodes of the season. The new trailer and synopsis confirm that Wednesday’s return to Nevermore Academy won’t be easy. She’s now grappling with a new principal, a dangerous campus stalker, and a prophecy she must avert to save her friend, Enid. The trailer shows Wednesday struggling with her psychic powers and reopening a dark chapter in her family’s history that has direct ties to her old nemesis, Tyler.

Season 2, which was split into two parts, sees an impressive lineup of new cast members, including Lady Gaga and Steve Buscemi. Gwendoline Christie also returns as Larissa Weems in a new role as a “spirit guide.” The new episodes will be available on September 3 on Netflix, allowing fans to finally unravel the season’s mysteries and get a resolution to the dramatic cliffhanger from Part 1.

The trailer also offers a subtle but powerful tease of Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated debut. While she doesn’t appear on screen, we hear her ominous voice in the final moments of the trailer, warning, “Beware. There will be a price to pay.” Her casting as the mysterious Nevermore teacher, Rosaline Rotwood, has been a major topic of conversation, and this voiceover gives fans their first tantalizing hint of the character’s dark presence.
