EXCLUSIVE: Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out has been renewed for a 20-episode second season at Lifetime. Dr. Sandra Lee will return as she continues her relationship with the network.

In Season 2, the show will introduce viewers to never-before-seen dermatological conditions, including a bicep bump that bends belief, mole-like lesions gone rogue, a protruding and veiny sac of uncertain mass atop a shoulder, and rare and unique skin conditions.

“The way Dr. Sandra Lee changes the lives of everyone that comes through her practice is truly inspiring,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming, A&E, Lifetime, and LMN. “Not only is she at the top of her field, but she is also able to empower her mentees who will be the next generation of poppers and truly help her patients and our audience. I couldn’t be more excited to continue our collaboration with Dr. Lee.”

Lee takes her expertise beyond TV and onto social media, where she shares a variety of pops, including many she has worked on and others she has found online. They range from the normal everyday lumps and bumps to outrageous personal experiments and life-affecting dermatological issues that are almost always something a licensed dermatologist like Dr. Lee should have investigated.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to return for Season 2 of Breaking Out on Lifetime. This show is so much more than just skin; it’s about helping people reclaim their confidence and their lives,” Lee shared in a statement. “I feel incredibly honored to share these powerful transformations with viewers, and I can’t wait for everyone to meet the amazing patients and proteges we will follow this season. There are some truly unforgettable pops ahead!”

Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out is produced by Invent TV in association with A+E Factual Studios and Not Hurting You Productions, with Sergio Alfaro, Jason Graham, Scott Cooper, Sandra Lee, and Jeffrey Rebish serving as executive producers. Brie Miranda Bryant and Nicole Vogel serve as executive producers for Lifetime.
