The Liberty seem to have erased the memory of a four-game losing streak that saw them fall back to the pack a bit, as they’ve now won four of their last five, including an impressive 105-97 win at the Los Angeles Sparks. All five starters scored in double figures for the Liberty, with Emma Meesseman (24 points), Jonquel Jones (21), and Leonie Fiebich (20) leading the way.
Las Vegas finds itself in an interesting spot; they are the No. 5 seed in the WNBA, but are three games back of the No. 2 seed and just three games ahead of the No. 9 seed. The Aces have won four in a row and six of their last seven, with their last contest being a tighter-than-expected 94-86 victory over the Connecticut Sun. A’ja Wilson put up a monster stat line, with 32 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, and two steals in the victory.
The Liberty and Aces have squared off twice this season, with New York winning both.
