The wait is finally over as the NFL preseason is officially here, and these two squads continue their preparation for their opening games of the regular season during this matchup.
We likely will not see many of the stars in action, as all of Jordan Love, Garrett Wilson, and Josh Jacobs will almost certainly get the night off. However, there are still plenty of storylines to follow.
The player Green Bay fans are most excited to see is rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden. The selection of the speedster represents the first time the Packers used a first-round pick on a wide receiver since Javon Walker in 2002.
It will be interesting to see how playing time, if any, Golden will get in this game. He should immediately be a starter and key contributor for a team that already has a plethora of weapons on the offensive side of the ball.
