Summary

  • Tiffany & Co. unveils its first Blue Box Café at its newly-opened Ginza Flagship
  • Led by acclaimed chef Natsuko Shoji, the menu blends New York and Japanese flavors using seasonal ingredients
  • Peter Marino-designed space features art and a rooftop terrace

Tiffany & Co. has unveiled its first Blue Box Café in Japan, nestled within its newly opened Ginza flagship. Overseen by acclaimed chef Natsuko Shoji, Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2022, the café blends Tiffany’s heritage with Shoji’s refined culinary artistry.

Located on the fourth floor, the space offers a curated dining experience that includes “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “Tiffany Afternoon Tea” and an all-day à la carte menu. Each dish is crafted with seasonal Japanese ingredients and a touch of New York elegance. Shoji’s menu reflects a fusion of cultures and aesthetics, with offerings like fruit tarts, Tiffany Blue macarons and savory sandwiches shaped like jewelry pieces.

Her breakfast set features dashi-infused soup, artisanal brioche and scrambled eggs inspired by tamagoyaki, while the all-day menu includes wagyu tartare, seasonal fish and the signature “Cheesecake 727,” named after Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue address. The drink selection further bridges East and West, incorporating Japanese spirits into classic cocktail formats.

Designed by architect Peter Marino, the café’s interior includes a main dining room, bar, private space and terrace overlooking Ginza. A floral installation by Makoto Azuma and artworks by Johan Creten, Sarah Charlesworth, Roe Ethridge and Molly Hatch enrich the space, creating a layered atmosphere of luxury and creativity.

Reservations are available exclusively through Tiffany’s official site, with booking windows opening two months in advance.
