Here is a brief recap of all the great stories you’ll find in today’s NY POSTcast:

Full time occupation-Israel’s new plan for Gaza

Israel is eyeing an end to its bloody and brutal conflict with Hamas but getting to peace isn’t going to be peaceful.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved a plan to fully occupy the Gaza strip and force Hamas to release the remaining hostages.

Hamas has released several videos this week exploiting the Israeli hostages and showcasing the horrifying conditions they’re living in, dressed in rags, close to starvation.

Netanyahu claims he’s spoken with the regional head of the Red Cross to request their involvement in providing food and medical care to the remaining living hostages.

Hamas has responded they are open to the idea but have demands, among them, that Israel opens permanent humanitarian corridors and ends airstrikes during the distribution of aid.

Twenty Israeli hostages are believed to be alive and held in Gaza.

DOJ Opens Russiagate grand jury investigation

The Justice Department is officially opening a grand jury investigation into Obama administration officials.

The move means that criminal charges are a possibility for former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey.

The DOJ alleges the officials conspired to tie then President-elect Donald Trump directly to Russian interference in the 2016 election. The outcome will depend on what the grand jury decides – to indict or not to indict.

Deputy doesn’t get the “action” she hoped for

Don’t post about your sex life on social media. That should be a rule. It’s not and now a Texas cop is facing an investigation.

Harris County Constable Precinct 5 Deputy Jennifer Escalera posted a viral TikTok – in uniform – with the caption -“Didn’t get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket.” An apparent reference to her lack of fulfillment in the bedroom, so to speak.

The post has since been removed but not before some local residents weighed in. One called it “really inappropriate and disrespectful.” Escalera’s post is being investigated by internal affairs.
