Two of David Zaslav’s chief lieutenants will be remaining with him for a while.
JB Perrette, CEO & President of Streaming and Games and Bruce Campbell, Chief Operating Officer, have both re-upped their contracts with Warner Bros.
It comes days after the company revealed its new leadership for Warner Bros. and Discovery Global, which are set to be separated by mid-2026.
Both of these executives came from the Discovery side of the business but will now remain with Zaslav, who is currently President and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, but once the separation is complete will become President and CEO of Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. will house Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, DC Studios, HBO, HBO Max and Warner Bros. Gaming Studios, as well as their film and television libraries, while Discovery Global, which is run by current WBD CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels, will house its cable networks including CNN, TNT Sports, Discovery Channel as well as the Discovery+ streaming service and Bleacher Report.
Perrette, who oversaw the global rollout of Max, joined Discovery in 2011 as Chief Digital Officer, having previously spent 11 years at NBCUniversal. Campbell joined Discovery in 2007, having previously served as EVP, Business Development at NBCUniversal.
