PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Two men from Winston County have been arrested and booked into jail on drug charges.
Priceville Police pulled a vehicle over for several moving violations on I-65 near Mile Marker 334 on Tuesday around 1 p.m.
Police said that two men identified as Adam B. Cole, 52, from Arley, and Ronall Jason Brannon, 52, from Addison, were inside the vehicle.
Following the traffic enforcement phase, a Priceville Police Department K-9 Unit arrived at the scene to assist with a narcotics investigation.
Upon further investigation, officers found a mixture of fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as a drug paraphernalia item inside the vehicle.
Cole and Brannon were both arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were transported and booked into the Morgan County Jail.
According to police, a background check on Brannon led to the discovery of a criminal record comprising over 30 prior charges, including multiple offenses related to narcotics trafficking and distribution.
Additionally, Brannon had an outstanding arrest warrant through the City of Decatur for an animal cruelty charge.
PPD added that Cole had been arrested in June 2025 for narcotics-related offenses and was out on felony bond in Winston County at the time of this incident.
Due to their criminal histories, a Morgan County Circuit Judge set their bonds at $41,000. A hold was placed on Brannon for Decatur City, while a temporary Judge’s hold was placed on Cole, pending a potential bond revocation through Winston County.
