July 29, 2025: People reports that the Anderson and Neeson are dating for real.
“It’s a budding romance in the early stages,” a source told the outlet. “It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”
The confirmation comes just hours after the pair pretended to get caught making out before an appearance on The Today Show. The bit was mostly chocked up to a PR stunt, in line with the hokey tone of The Naked Gun. But in hindsight, as news of their real relationship emerged, the whole thing reads a little bit steamy…

During the same appearance, the pair was asked point blank if they’re dating. Anderson deadpanned, “I don’t understand the question.”
Neeson added, “I had never met Pamela before. We met on set, and we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry—as two actors. And it was like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this, let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did.”

Speaking with Anderson Cooper in 2014, Neeson opened up about Richardson’s final hours.
“’Oh, darling. I’ve taken a tumble in the snow.’ That’s how she described it,” he said, remembering a phone call after the accident. At the time, Neeson was in Toronto filming; he immediately boarded a flight when it became clear that her condition was serious.
