Honda will showcase its futuristic Koraidon mobility concept at the 2025 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race from August 1 to 3. Inspired by the Legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet, the Honda Koraidon blends the company’s signature manufacturing expertise with cutting-edge technologies, resulting in a near-life-sized, fully mobile version of the fan-favorite creature.
Following its debut at the Honda Welcome Plaza earlier this year, the Koraidon will be on display at the Honda Racing Gallery on August 1 and 2. On August 3, the concept will perform its first public “Sprinting Build” showrun during the race’s pre-ceremony event, giving fans a glimpse of its motion capabilities.
The project involves around 40 Honda engineers and marks a playful yet technologically ambitious response to Toyota’s Miraidon initiative. The Koraidon features realistic proportions, self-balancing tech and a design that closely mirrors its in-game counterpart. Created in collaboration with The Pokémon Company, the Honda Koraidon is part of a broader mission to transform childhood dreams into reality through engineering and imagination.
