The woman seen in the viral video of a couple trying to hide after being featured on a giant “kiss cam” screen at a Coldplay concert last week has resigned from her position at data company Astronomer.

Kristin Cabot resigned as Astronomer’s chief people officer, the New York-based company said in a statement Thursday.

Cabot did not respond to a request for comment.

Online users identified her and Astronomer CEO Andy Byron as being in the video. The company said Saturday that Byron had resigned.

Cabot and Byron catapulted to international fame last week after Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, called them out for hiding their faces once they were caught on a kiss camera during a show in Massachusetts, hypothesizing that they were either shy or might have been having an affair.

A video of the moment made rounds online and went viral on X and TikTok. Internet sleuths almost immediately identified the man and woman in the clip.

On Friday, Astronomer said that its CEO had been placed on leave and that it was investigating the viral moment.

Byron’s resignation followed the next day. The company named co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy as its interim CEO.

Byron has not replied to NBC News’ requests for comment.

DeJoy said Monday that Astronomer has faced an “unusual and surreal” amount of attention since the Coldplay show launched two members of its C-suite into the zeitgeist.

“The spotlight has been unusual and surreal for our team and, while I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

When Martin entered the “kiss cam” part of the show Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, he was sure to give a cheeky warning to concertgoers in an apparent attempt to avoid the awkward moment from earlier in the week.
