Do Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, stars of the upcoming Naked Gun reboot, have more than a professional relationship? Neeson has said that he’s “madly in love with” his costar, albeit presumably in a platonic way. But when the pair attended the film’s premiere, their chemistry on the red carpet seemed to underline his words.
Anderson, stunning in a Rodarte dress, kissed her costar on the cheek with such affection that it made the audience blush. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly for a recent digital cover, she gushed about Neeson: “We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving.” Neeson, meanwhile, joked to The Sun that his favorite part of filming was shooting sex scenes with his co-star. As their characters coupled, the pair added facetiously, the production’s intimacy coordinator stormed away, shouting, “I can’t take this! This is too hot for me. I’m going for coffee.”
Although Neeson told the outlet that he had never seen Anderson’s work in Baywatch, he added that he was impressed by her performance in the 2024 film The Last Showgirl: “She was real. She was funny. Incredibly sexy.”
Neeson and Anderson have been publicly flirting throughout their publicity tour, saying that the chemistry between them was vital to the film. When The Sun asked Anderson if she’d join her costar again for a sequel, she replied, “I’ll follow him anywhere.” Anderson also said that she baked Neeson a cake on his birthday, a recipe that comes from a cookbook she wrote—titled, aptly, I Love You. Both live in the countryside and lead a quiet life away from the spotlight. So if their relationship is, in fact, actually romantic, they might just be a wonderful match.
