Pam Anderson baked Liam Neeson cookies and bread? Now that’s a good friend…yep, nothing to see here, just friends. Totally just friends.
In an interview with People, Anderson revealed that during filming of The Naked Gun, she baked her costar sourdough bread and cookies and left them inside his dressing room. The publication followed up a bit later to get Neeson’s take on Anderson’s skills in the kitchen. The verdict? Anderson’s baking is “superb.”
“That sourdough bread was something else,” he said. “And I know the effort it takes.”
As those of us who received some sourdough starter during the pandemic and made big plans to master the craft can attest, baking sourdough bread from scratch is, as Neeson put it, effortful. Allowing the dough to rise alone can take upwards of 10 hours. And though a baker doesn’t need to physically be doing anything during those hours, it’s the forethought that I’d like to highlight here. Anderson did not simply buy her coworker a coffee as a welcoming gesture. Making sourdough is a days long commitment!
“I’m so not a cook, nor a baker. I’m not,” said Neeson. “But I did appreciate the gesture very, very much.”

They’re making it hard not to ship.
The pair filmed The Naked Gun in Atlanta, where Neeson admittedly fell “madly in love” with the former Baywatch star. “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson told People back in October 2024. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
Anderson had plenty of praise for her costar as well, describing him as “the perfect gentleman.”
“He brings out the best in you.… with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him,” she said of Liam Neeson at the time. “[He] sincerely looked after me—wrapped his coat around me when I was cold.”
No matter how cute these Pam Anderson and Liam Neeson have been on and off the red carpet, neither has officially announced their relationship has become anything more than platonic. But listen, the friends-to-lovers trope always starts with the “friends” part.
