It was the Coldplay canoodle heard ‘round the world — and within a few minutes had broken the internet.

Ever since Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, an HR executive at the tech firm, were caught cozying up on camera at Coldplay’s performance in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, the internet hasn’t let the story die.

In the days following the jaw-dropping reveal at Gillette Stadium, trolls — on social media and seemingly every baseball stadium in America — took to the web to weigh in in

One user chimed in on an Instagram post celebrating women’s empowerment from an unverified account called @kristincabotofficial.

“Celebrating women? Except for the wife, whose soul and heart will never be the same!! But you support all other women, right!!!” @hugs_joanne_kisses wrote in a reply to the post.

In a 2023 YouTube interview, Cabot said she employed “radical candor” in her corporate life.

“It’s hard getting people comfortable with hurting someone’s feelings, I don’t love it,” she said.

“Kristin loves radical candor, except when it involves telling her spouse about her affair,” @slimgooboogie2184 commented on the video.

On top of the many nasty comments, Byron and Cabot’s affair has given trolls the mid-summer scandal they’d been waiting for – even hitting the baseball diamond.

The Philadelphia Phillies poked fun at the Coldplay kiss cam situation by panning to their mascot, the Philly Phantic, in a snug embrace with female counterpart, Phoebe Phanatic.

Jimmy Fallon brazenly told his Fallon Tonight audience Friday that he wanted Coldplay to release the Epstein Files on their jumbotron.

“At this point, our best chance is if Coldplay shows them on the kiss jumbotron” his video was captioned on Instagram.

The Epstein Files might not be available for public browsing, but this AI video of former President Bill Clinton and his now-famous intern, Monica Lewinsky, is.

One social media user, @EricMatheny joked on X that Coldplay hasn’t had a radio hit in a while, but “last night, they made two.”

Meanwhile, @MeghanMaureen suggested that with all the attention the British rock band was getting, the price of Coldplay concert tickets would go sky high.

“Your house and half of your 401k” she wrote on X.

Now it seems the world’s most famous new lovers have reportedly inspired the cover art of Coldplay’s next album. @AngelaBelcamino shared a her own version showing the couple looking shocked as artwork. While @MelainieLynneN shared a video clip on X showing others caught on the similar kiss cams. Moreover @foreveralone11w claimed on X that Coldplay’s Kiss Cam should be made for cats.
