OC Parks is bringing back two of Orange County’s most beloved summer traditions: the annual Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema film screenings. Running from June 6 to August 29, 2025, the series includes nine Thursday night concerts and 12 Friday night movies at regional parks throughout the county, all free to attend and with free parking.
Presented by the County of Orange and OC Parks, the outdoor events are designed to offer affordable and family-friendly entertainment across some of the area’s most scenic public spaces. Guests can expect live music, recent and classic films, and themed pre-show entertainment, with food trucks and a beer and wine garden available at every event.
Summer concerts take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, with music beginning at 6 p.m.
The 2025 OC Parks Summer Concert Series lineup includes:
- June 19 – Ozomatli at Mile Square Regional Park
- June 26 – Doin’ Time (Sublime tribute) at Mile Square Regional Park
- July 10 – Flashback Heart Attack (’80s hits) at Mason Regional Park
- July 17 – Mariachi Divas at Craig Regional Park
- July 24 – The Pistol Blonde (female country cover band) at Craig Regional Park
- July 31 – Dream Like Taylor (Taylor Swift tribute) at Irvine Regional Park
- August 7 – Elton The Early Years at Irvine Regional Park
- August 14 – No Duh: The Ultimate Tribute to No Doubt at Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach
- August 21 – Boy Band Review at Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach
The OC Parks Sunset Cinema film series takes place Friday evenings starting at 6 p.m., with movies beginning after sunset.

- August 1 – Twisters (2024) at Laguna Niguel Regional Park
- August 8 – The Greatest Showman (2017) at Laguna Niguel Regional Park
- August 15 – Elemental (2023) at Irvine Regional Park
- August 22 – Shrek (2001) at Irvine Regional Park
- August 29 – Moana 2 (2024) at Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach
In a statement, Orange County Board of Supervisors Chair Doug Chaffee praised the summer programming as a meaningful way to bring the community together. “The OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema film series offer a fantastic opportunity to experience free live music and films in the beautiful settings of Orange County’s regional parks, bringing people together to create long-lasting special memories,” he said.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring blankets and chairs, and enjoy pre-show entertainment including DJ-led games and character meet-and-greets.
All films will be shown in English, and translation services are available upon request at concert events. Events are open to all ages.
