Running from June 6 to August 29, 2025, the series includes nine Thursday night concerts and 12 Friday night movies at regional parks throughout the county, all free to attend and with free parking.

Presented by the County of Orange and OC Parks, the outdoor events are designed to offer affordable and family-friendly entertainment across some of the area’s most scenic public spaces. Guests can expect live music, recent and classic films, and themed pre-show entertainment, with food trucks and a beer and wine garden available at every event.

Summer concerts take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, with music beginning at 6 p.m.

In a statement, Orange County Board of Supervisors Chair Doug Chaffee praised the summer programming as a meaningful way to bring the community together. “The OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema film series offer a fantastic opportunity to experience free live music and films in the beautiful settings of Orange County’s regional parks, bringing people together to create long-lasting special memories,” he said.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring blankets and chairs, and enjoy pre-show entertainment including DJ-led games and character meet-and-greets.

All films will be shown in English, and translation services are available upon request at concert events. Events are open to all ages.

OC Parks, part of OC Community Resources, manages nearly 60,000 acres of parks, open space, and historical and coastal sites throughout Orange County.
