The Indiana Fever were able to pull off a win over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night. They are now set to face off against the New York Liberty in what will be a very difficult road matchup on Wednesday evening.
Caitlin Clark has been a major storyline over the last 24 hours. She appeared to injure her groin once again in the win over the Suns. Of course, she has missed time due to a groin injury already this season.
While her status is currently unknown, the Fever have another star on the roster who is more than capable of carrying the offense with or without Clark on the court.
Aliyah Boston has been an absolute superstar for Indiana. She’s one of the most talented forwards in the WNBA and still has plenty of room to continue growing her game.

Stephanie White, the head coach of the Fever, recently opened up about her star forward.
Following the win over Connecticut, White spoke out about Boston. She revealed her strong opinion on the star forward and also shared that she wants to find more ways to get Boston involved.
“She’s the anchor on the defensive end of the floor,” White said. “And she’s a facilitator offensively. I thought really early when she was not getting a lot of touches — and we have to go a better job at getting her touches — she was facilitating, she was making the right play.”
Originally, Boston was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft by Indiana. She has taken her game to the next level so far this season in her third year.

Boston has played in 22 games so far during the 2025 WNBA season. In those appearances, she has averaged 16 points per game to go along with 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks, while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor.
At just 23 years old, Boston hasn’t even scratched the surface of her potential. Playing alongside of Clark has covered up some of the production she has put forward, but she’s still revered as one of the top stars in the WNBA.
It will be interesting to see what the rest of the 2025 campaign has in store for the Fever. They have the talent to be a championship contender, but they need to stay healthy and they need both Clark and Boston firing on all cylinders.
