Japanese labels Sasquatchfabrix., tokyovitamin, and BEAMS’ FUTURE ARCHIVE have joined forces for an eclectic capsule blending each brand’s distinct subcultural ethos into one.
The bohemian sensibilities of Sasquatchfabrix. joins with tokyovitamin’s Y2k aesthetic, and FUTURE ARCHIVE’s youth culture lens in a capsule of seven garments. Ranging from retro activewear, graphic tees, and unconventional accessories, the collection features retro accents of yellow and orange, and is rooted in a dark charcoal gray. Graphics, including orante icons and hand-drawn illustrations, are distressed, while fabrics are tattered and sun-faded
The “Track Jacket” and “Track Pants” are a versatile knit set reminiscent of the 1990s with elegant striped trim down the side seams and a pinched seam through the middle. A special rugby-style polo, featuring large tokyovitamin and Sasquatchfabrix patches over a colorful striped fabric, stands out alongside a Vitamin City ringer tee and a distressed hoodie, both in two colorways. Finally, the dual-color ear muff hat reimagines a classic baseball cap with a tieable fabric covering the ears.
The “Beams Harajuku Annex” will be holding an exclusive 3-day pop-up shop to launch the Sasquatchfabrix. x tokyovitamin x BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE collection on July 18.
