PHOENIX — HTeaO, a national iced tea franchise, is set to open its first Arizona location in Glendale this week.
The new location, located in the Westgate Entertainment District near 91st and Glendale avenues, will open on Saturday, according to a Monday announcement.
As part of the opening, HTeaO will offer free cups of tea from 10 a.m. to noon. The first 250 customers will also receive HTeaO shirts and stickers.
HTeaO plans to open additional Arizona locations over the next three years, including a second Glendale location that will open in October, according to the announcement.
“We have received an overwhelming number of requests to bring HTeaO to Arizona, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally make it happen,” Chief Development Officer Shane Clark said in the announcement.
“With Arizona’s beautiful, warm weather and strong sense of community, we’re confident HTeaO will become a local favorite for years to come. We are proud to partner with a passionate group of franchisees who are just as committed to our mission of ‘Brewing Purpose’ in every neighborhood we serve.”
What can guests expect from the new HTeaO location?
HTeaO offers a menu that features over 20 flavors of sweetened and unsweetened tea, including sweet cherry, mint, coconut and watermelon. The location also offers hot and iced coffee options.
“As Glendale continues to grow, we still remember our small-town origins — just like HTeaO, which started small and now serves nine states,” Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers said. “We’re proud to welcome them to our community and excited to host their westernmost location.”
The new HTeaO store opens at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday, closing at 10:05 p.m. except on Friday and Saturday nights when it’s open an hour longer.
