Sounds like they were swingers.
A frisky couple was caught having some hanky panky in a hammock outside the Harpoon House hotel in Southampton, we hear.
Naughty knotty!
“I saw them from the room because the hammock kept going back and forth,” a shocked spy said of our hammo-sexuals. “The woman’s legs were in the sky.”
A source tells us the lusty (and likely intoxicated) pair were caught frigging in the rigging at around 4 a.m. by a hotel employee who intervened to end the hammock hump.
“The woman was begging them not to call the police,” says the spy.
We hear the benevolent employee let the pendulous pair of lusty lovebirds go.
The hotel, on busy Main Street, is connected to Pop Up by Rocco, which is helmed by celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito and has seen celebs like Brooke Shields and power brokers like Howard Lorber, Wilbur Ross and John Catsimatidis.
There is also a club on the property called the Main Room. Our spy surmised that the randy couple had wandered over to the hotel section after a night of partying.
This isn’t the first — nor, we’re sure, will it be the last — time Page Six has written about a tipsy couple getting over-zealous in public.
An amorous pair were caught fornicating atop an enormous elephant sculpture set up on South Beach, Miami, during Art Basel this year as part of the installation the Great Elephant Migration.
“A security guard heard strange noises and went over with his flashlight to investigate. Apparently he saw a couple on top of one of the big elephants! We do not know how they got up there,” said a source at the time.
They too got off.
We also previously reported that, during the holiday season of 2021, one patron at the swanky Mark Hotel “attempted” to give the mistletoe treatment to another’s Tiny Tim in a corner of the bar.
It didn’t work, apparently. Said the source: “Well, they were both sloppy drunk. Also, she was smoking a cigarette.”
That pair were also caught and thrown out by security.
