Name: Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Banned” (speculative mock-up pictured above)
Colorway: Black/Black/Varsity Red/Summit White
SKU: HQ6998-001
MSRP: TBC
Release Date: Summer 2026
Where to Buy: Nike

Jordan Brand’s celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 has been one of the sneaker highlights of the year. While there’s still plenty more launches to look forward to, including everything from another fragment design x Travis Scott low-top colorway to the return of the “Shattered Backboard” high-tops, rumors regarding the model’s 2026 lineup are starting to surface.

A new report from the sneaker leaker trio of zSneakerHeadz, Sneaker Files, and Sneaker Market RO has indicated that the Air Jordan 1’s “Banned” look will be making its return in 2026. However, rather than grace the high-top version of the shoe like it did in 2011, it is said to be arriving on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. While we lack a first look at the shoe, you can expect the classic “Bred” color blocking to host an “X” at the heel while arriving in special packaging.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed that the “Banned” treatment will be hitting the Air Jordan 1 Low OG next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the rumored shoe, as we currently expect it to drop next summer via Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide.
