Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were able to bounce back from their disappointing loss to the Golden State Valkyries on Friday night against the Atlanta Dream. In a game that showed a clear sense of urgency from the Fever, they won by a final score of 99-82.

It was a convincing win for an Indiana team that has struggled to find its identity.

Between Clark missing quite a bit of time due to two separate injury issues and the team simply not gelling well together, the 2025 WNBA season has been a rollercoaster so far. Hopefully, the win over the Dream can help the Fever get back on track.

Leading the way for Indiana was Kelsey Mitchell, who scored 25 points on 9-for-16 shooting. Aliyah Boston also had a big game with 19 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in the win.

As for Clark, she had a quality game. She may not have produced huge numbers, but she made a major impact on the win.

Clark scored 12 points, although she shot just 5-for-17 from the floor and 1-for-7 from the three-point line. She also dished out nine assists, grabbed four rebounds, and only turned the ball over twice.

With that performance, Clark reached another major career milestone.

Polymarket Hoops took to X to share the milestone for Clark. She became the sixth-fastest player in WNBA history to reach 950 career points.

So far during the 2025 WNBA season, Clark has played in 11 games. She has averaged 16.9 points, 8.6 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. In addition, she has shot 37.6 percent from the floor and 28.9 percent from three-point distance.

Those numbers are lower than she produced in her rookie season. It has not been the MVP-caliber campaign that many WNBA fans were expecting from Clark.

Despite the slow start to the season, Clark remains confident. She has been hit with a lot of adversity, but the team is still alive in the race for the playoffs. If she can stay healthy, her production should increase.

If she is able to pick up her individual level of play to what she’s capable of producing, the Fever should become a much more dangerous contender.

Next up for Indiana will be a matchup at home against the Dallas Wings on Sunday. Clark and the Fever will look to start a winning streak and finally start showing the championship potential they were expected to have this season.
