Porsche has unveiled new Black Edition variants of the Taycan and Cayenne, offering a refined, high-performance look and a suite of upgraded features. Both models will make their public debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and arrive in showrooms later this year. Available across various body styles and drivetrain options, the Black Editions combine exclusive styling details with expanded standard equipment.
On the Taycan, high-gloss black accents highlight the Sport Design package, mirror housings and illuminated rear logo. Inside, drivers will find black-brushed aluminium door sill guards, storage enhancements and a centre console badge denoting the edition. Most notably, Porsche has equipped all Taycan Black Editions with the larger 105 kWh Performance Battery Plus as standard, increasing the WLTP range of the base sports sedan to 415 miles — a 12 percent improvement over the standard model.
The Cayenne Black Edition receives similar treatment, with gloss-black finishes on the front apron, Porsche logo and brushed aluminum interior trim. Both models gain a host of premium features as standard, including 21-inch wheels, HD Matrix LED headlights, a BOSE Surround Sound System, Lane Change Assist and comfort seats with embossed Porsche crests. While black is the signature theme, customers can choose from several metallic finishes and interior colour options. Additional customisations are available through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
