EXCLUSIVE: Diane Gross is joining 101 Studios as their new EVP of Business and Legal Affairs.
Gross will lead the company’s in-house legal team negotiating talent, development, production and rights deals for scripted and unscripted content. The exec will play a key role in overseeing business and legal affairs for 101 Studios’ growing slate of content including series such as Landman, The Agency, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown and MobLand; ensuring the proper safeguards are put in place to protect 101 Studios, including its assets and worldwide interests.
Gross will be based at their Studio City based Radford Studios Office.
Prior to joining 101 Studios, Gross worked at Legendary Entertainment as one of their SVPs of TV Business & Legal Affairs. Gross worked to shape the studio’s television legal framework where she was involved in the oversight of the business and legal affairs for series such as Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (part of Legendary’s Monsterverse franchise), Dune: Prophecy and Drops of God.
In the early days of Gross’ legal career, she held a key legal role at Embassy Row (a Sony Pictures Television company) and was part of the legal team overseeing broadcast standards and practices at Disney ABC Entertainment Group, advising on high-profile programming.

Gross serves as a member of the California and New York State Bars and holds a J.D from New York Law School and a B.S from Syracuse University.
