Just call her Kim Taylor.
Kim Kardashian strutted her stuff on the runway during Balenciaga’s fall 2025 couture show in Paris on Wednesday, wearing a look inspired by the Skims founder’s obsession, Elizabeth Taylor.
She even added bling in the form of dazzling necklaces and the same diamond earrings once worn by the late Hollywood movie star.
Jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz — who is a friend of the Kardashian family and forged a close relationship with Taylor, designing many pieces for both stars over the years — teamed up with the fashion brand for creative director Demna’s last collection.
Schwartz purchased the Mike Todd Diamond Pendant Earrings at an auction, per a press release, with a 2011 Christie’s listing revealing the final sale price as a whopping $374,500.
She also made two additional necklaces, boasting around 250 carats of diamonds, to finish Kardashian’s runway look.
Taylor was, of course, known for her unbeatable jewelry collection, with the chandelier design serving as a gift from then-husband Mike Todd in 1957. They were clearly among her favorites, with the actress wearing the jaw-dropping diamonds for multiple decades thereafter.
Kardashian paid homage to Taylor through her outfit, too, sporting a beige body-hugging slip dress with lace trim inspired by the white number the actress wore in the 1958 film “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.”
She topped off the gown with a fur coat and pumps in the same neutral shade.

As it happens, Kardashian’s love for Taylor runs deep, as she’s admired the late star for decades.
In 2011, Kardashian interviewed Taylor for Harper’s Bazaar, marking the award-winning actress’ final media interview before her death the same year.
Meanwhile, last year, Kardashian addressed her fascination with the late A-lister during a chat with BBC. “I was always drawn to Elizabeth Taylor,” she said.
Kardashian reflected on the interview, too. “We were actually supposed to meet up for tea at her house, and then she fell ill,” she revealed.

Instead, they spoke over the phone. “We were talking about fighting for people,” Kardashian recalled. “She understood her power and her beauty.”
Kardashian also has a relationship with Balenciaga Demna, who presented his last collection for the fashion house today before officially taking the reins at Gucci.
She was named a Balenciaga ambassador in January 2024, previously walked the runway in a sleek black number in 2022 and has worn Demna’s designs countless times, including her infamous face-less look at the 2021 Met Gala.
Kim even just debuted a T-shirt emblazoned with photos of herself for the fall 2025 collection.
Before hitting the runway, the mother of four turned heads on the sidewalks in Paris, stepping out in a neon pink dress and pantaboots created by the fashion house.
In the audience to watch Kardashian do her best Liz impersonation on Thursday was Lauren Sánchez, fresh off her wedding to Jeff Bezos, as well as Lorde, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts with daughter Kai and more.
