Kelly Clarkson’s concert crew was reportedly “blindsided” by the pop star’s last-minute cancellation of her Las Vegas residency shows over the weekend.

“Everyone working behind the scenes was in complete shock,” an insider told the US Sun Tuesday, adding that they were kept “completely in the dark.”

“They woke up Friday expecting a normal day of work and began their day like always. It wasn’t until hours into the work day everyone was told the news.”

“A lot of the crew found out on social media which is utterly disrespectful,” the source continued.

“It’s disrespectful to do that to so many people who worked their ass off for your show. She’s definitely lost the respect and confidence of a lot of her workers.”

According to the insider, “so many fans” were already waiting outside the Colosseum at Caesars Palace when Clarkson, 43, announced she was canceling her show 10 minutes before the doors opened.

Many of them allegedly “burst into tears” when they learned the show wasn’t happening.

“The crew was setting up like normal and bam, it hit,” the source continued. “Fans crying about wasting thousands of dollars, fans who flew from outside of the country to see Kelly for the first time.

“She doesn’t realize the depth of how much she let people down and most of them were crying they can’t afford to come back another weekend.”

According to the insider, Clarkson’s shows are expected to resume on Friday and Saturday, and the crew “has been showing up every day to do their job and put on a good show.”

“Now we just need Kelly to show up,” they said. “I think people will be walking on eggshells and on edge until she actually hits the stage because of how last-minute she canceled.”

Reps for Clarkson weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

The “Since U Been Gone” singer shocked fans when she canceled the opening weekend of her residency only 90 minutes before she was set to take the stage.

She took to Instagram to explain that rehearsals had “taken a toll on [her] voice” and she “want[ed] the shows to be perfect.”

An insider told Page Six that Clarkson is “an incredibly powerful singer, but it takes its toll on her vocal cords and she’s come incredibly close to needing surgery before.”

“She cannot risk damaging her cords further – she’s on thin ice,” we’re told.

Another insider also told us that the “Breakaway” singer’s “personal life is so insanely complicated,” explaining that she is “fighting some serious hidden battles that very few people are privy to.”

Clarkson previously missed episodes of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in March due to “a personal matter.”

The hitmaker has also gotten candid about the struggle of her 2020 divorce from Brandon Blackstock, with whom she shares a 10-year-old daughter, River Rose, and an 8-year-old son, Remy.
