MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Hospital Health System center announced the new program on Monday.
Marshall Medical Centers announced Monday that it now provides pediatric outpatient speech and language therapy at both Marshall North and South locations!
From first words to full conversations, Marshall Medical Centers said it is here to support your child’s communication journey.
“Whether your child needs help with early intervention, speech sound development, language growth, or social communication skills, our licensed speech-language pathologists offer personalized, one-on-one therapy designed specifically for kids,” MMC said.
The services provided by the program include:
- Assessment and treatment for listening and reading comprehension
- Assessment and treatment for oral expression
- Assessment and treatment for articulation/phonological skills
- Assessment and treatment for play and social skills
- Counseling and education for parents/guardians
- Assessment and training for an augmentative communication device
In addition to this program, Marshall Medical also provides speech and swallowing therapy for adults.
