After much speculation as to whether or not the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Ace Bailey, would ever play for the Jazz, he put all of Utah’s worries to rest by suiting up for their first Summer League game.
Bailey struggled from the field in his first action for the team, shooting 3-13 from the field, but he still managed to score 8 points and grab 7 rebounds. It could be a bounce-back night for the rookie as he looks to put the draft night controversy behind him and establish himself as a dynamic player at the professional level.
Jaylen Wells and GG Jackson both showed out for the Grizzlies in their first game of the summer, scoring 20 points each in their 92-80 win over the Thunder. Wells and Jackson could see their roles increase this upcoming season in Memphis, with another year of experience under their belts.
