A dog’s refusal to share her toys with a visiting canine companion has left viewers on TikTok in stitches, prompting laughter and sympathy in equal measure after a viral video showed her comically guarding her stash.
The footage, shared to TikTok by @olafthecatdog on July 1, shows the dog named Scout perching on a couch, her mouth stuffed with multiple toys as another dog stood on the floor clearly eager to join in. Among the toys being hoarded were chews sticks and a tennis ball.
An overlaid text on the video read: “When your friend comes over, but you don’t want to share your toys,” while the caption added: “Scout doesn’t share!”

The way Scout firmly held onto her toys while her guest tried to climb onto the couch showed a subtle power dynamic that plenty of pet owners recognized immediately. Several viewers also poked fun at whether a rift occurred between the two canines following the toy dispute.
