Arts-Rec offers a range of skate and sneaker gear to its local San Diego area and is due to drop a collaboration with Nike SB later this month. We previewed its unique take on the SB Dunk Low back in March, and while the design is still scheduled to launch, the duo has also prepared a comeback for the SB Air Trainer 1.
It’s been five years since the SB team’s take on the Air Trainer 1 was last on the market. Now, it returns in a vibrant composition created by Arts-Rec that complements the shop’s SB Dunk Low. Animal-inspired print is present at the toe and heel while black suede hosts a matching strap that sees “arts” and “rec” text on the right and left shoes respectively. A rust orange base is joined by a deep red leather and pink Swooshes, completing this initial preview of the pair.
For those looking to pick up the Arts-Rec x Nike SB Air Trainer 1, it is set to launch alongside the store’s SB Dunk Low on July 18 at a price of $160 USD via Arts-Rec and other skate shops that carry Nike SB products.
