The announcement also confirmed Crunchyroll’s acquisition of worldwide streaming rights, excluding Asia but including India and the Indian Subcontinent.
The panel featured key creative voices behind the series, including producer Yuichiro Fukushi, composer Evan Call and voice actor Chiaki Kobayashi, who plays Stark. Fukushi revealed that Tomoya Kitagawa, who previously directed multiple episodes and contributed storyboards in Season 1, will take the helm as director for Season 2. Meanwhile, Keiichiro Saito, the director of the first season, will return as Supervising Director.
Produced by studio Madhouse, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe.
