Tomorrowland, in collaboration with Hero Esports, INS Land and Budweiser, is bringing “The Magic of Tomorrowland” to Shanghai this November.
Set to take place on November 22, The Magic of Tomorrowland will mark the festival’s first-ever indoor music showcase and its inaugural presence in China. The show, themed “Paperworld,” promises to offer an immersive experience that redefines live entertainment by blending Tomorrowland’s renowned production with cutting-edge technology and cultural artistry.
The event will feature exclusive China-debut sets from celebrated DJs and a diverse lineup spanning various genres and continents — complete with a fully immersive stage experience driven by advanced visuals and sensory storytelling.
“This November 22, we invite you to step inside a new chapter of the Tomorrowland story — right here in the heart of Huangpu, at the Hero Dome, just steps from the Bund,” said Clinton Lau, Head of Music Festivals at Hero Esports and Head of Music at INS Land. “This won’t be a traditional outdoor festival. This will be a fully immersive indoor show — designed specifically from the ground up to create intimacy, intensity, and impact, no matter the weather or the world outside. You’ll experience the sound, the stage design, the storytelling — all the signature elements that define Tomorrowland — reimagined through the lens of China, and brought to life in one unforgettable space.”
“Hero Esports and INS Land are honored for this partnership to have come to fruition, from a conversation in Belgium to a blossoming collaboration,” said Dino Ying, Chairman of Hero Esports and INS Land. “Thanks to Tomorrowland’s visionary team and our title sponsor Budweiser, we are excited to deliver what will be a celebration that captures the spirit of unity, creativity, and boundless energy that defines their legacy. At Hero Esports and INS Land, we hope to combine world-class music with cutting-edge technology, boosting cultural tourism and setting new global standards for immersive experiences. We believe that The Magic of Tomorrowland will be a landmark event that helps shape the future of entertainment in Asia,” said Ying.
“We are incredibly proud to bring the Magic of Tomorrowland to China, for the very first time — and even more special: to debut our first-ever indoor show,” said Bruno Vanwelsenaers, CEO of WEAREONE.world, the organization behind Tomorrowland. “China has an incredibly dynamic and fast-evolving music, entertainment, and nightlife scene. There’s a growing appetite for meaningful experiences — and that’s exactly what Tomorrowland stands for. We sincerely thank our incredible local partners and teams here in China — at Hero Esports, INS Land and Budweiser. Your passion, professionalism and creative energy made this dream a reality. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to start this new chapter with.”
The Magic of Tomorrowland takes place November 22 at the HERO DOME on Shanghai’s Bund waterfront. Additional details including ticket sales and the artist lineup will be announced in September. Fans can pre-register via the INS Land WeChat mini-program and app or join the official Tomorrowland WeChat community for priority access and updates.
