Update: After a delay to its launch, we now have a complete look at what to expect from LeBron James’ new Nike LeBron 21 “Prime ‘93.” The sneaker, which combines the LeBron 21 with the Nike Air Diamond Turf 93, dons a black, white, red, and gold composition across its unique build. A midfoot strap, new upper paneling, and special “Primetime” tongue branding make this a one-of-a-kind entry in King James’ signature shoe line. Look out for it to arrive on July 17 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $210 USD, and for more information revisit our previous breakdowns below.
Update: LeBron James paid homage to Deion Sanders’ sneaker legacy last year with hybrid takes of his LeBron 21 and the Air DT Max ‘96. Despite the LeBron 22 hitting the market in 2024, it was rumored that several of these mash-ups of the LeBron 21 would be dropping in 2025, including a “Prime ‘93” look based on the Air Diamond Turf 93 that we discussed previously below. We now have a first look at the sneaker, confirming the merging of the two sneakers. A large midfoot strap has been added to the “Fire Red” upper alongside new paneling, nodding to Coach Prime’s retro model. Release is now expected to take place on May 9 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $180 USD.
Original Story: Summer 2025 is already looking to be an exciting season for sneakers. According to a new report from Sneaker Files, LeBron James and Coach Prime are set to combine their signature aesthetics into a hybrid shoe. The Nike LeBron 21 Prime 93 takes the LeBron 21 and merges it with the Nike Air Diamond Turf 93, bridging the appeal for both football and basketball fans.
The shoe is slated to take on a “Fire Red” colorway, with a nod to the “Atlanta Falcons” color scheme, featuring a mix of black, white, fire red and metallic gold hues. The mid-foot strap with the “NIKE” branding is the shoe’s key feature, giving a nostalgic touch that brings fans back to the Deion Sanders’ signature style. Just under the strap are gold mesh panels with a Swoosh on the medial for added branding. The heel sees a stiff-arm logo as it sits atop a black midsole and white and red rubber outsole. Look out for the pair arriving next summer.
