Longtime friends Dakota Johnson and Kate Hudson are enjoying a few days of vacation together in Ibiza. Their trip recalls another one back in 2015, when both actors as well as their famous mothers—Melanie Griffith and Goldie Hawn, respectively—enjoyed a few days together in Aspen. When Hudson, who is a musician in addition to being an actress, gave a concert in the same Colorado city last year, Johnson didn’t miss it.
So it’s not at all strange to see the two together on a trip—which, in addition to yacht rides, has had room for some surprise. While dining at the well-known restaurant Pierluigi with businessman Douglas Chabbott and Johnson’s agent, Maha Dakhil, they ran into Ricky Martin. The singer, single after his split from Jwan Yosef, appeared with an attractive young man, causing some to wonder if the “Living La Vida Loca” star has found love again
The bohemian looks the friends opted for in their Italian adventure seem worthy of an early-aughts rom-com—a genre Hudson is well acquainted with. Johnson, who wore a boho Bode top to their dinner, only reinforced the romantic comedy vibe.
Now the actresses have been photographed on a yacht in Ibiza with Hudson’s stylist, Sophie Lopez. While Dakota opted to wear a white bikini, Hudson went for a totally black look. Johnson seems to be enjoying her trip to Ibiza, which comes after her high-profile breakup with her longtime partner, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Heading to Ibiza after a sp[lit is always a great idea—and doing it in the company of a close friend is even better.
