Following his collaboration with Trapstar, Nigerian-British artist Olaolu Slawn is hitting the race track with Red Bull’s Racing Bulls Formula One team and HUGO. Ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend, Slawn has been invited to reimagine the team’s VCARB 02 car, driver race suits, and staff kits with his signature graffiti-style artwork.
The Silverstone race track will be graced by two customized cars, which will see Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar battle it out for their next podium finish. The classic white car maintains Red Bull’s logo over the engine and sponsorship emblems throughout, accompanied by Slawn’s caricature artwork in black.
Additionally, HUGO has been enlisted to make the team’s new race suits and kits to debut at Silverstone. The tops maintains a white, red, and blue color palette, while Slawn’s open-eyed figures are drawn on the torso. Paying tribute to his scribbles found across London, the partnership is ready to dominate Silverstone one mile at a time.
The replica team kit designed by Slawn is available for purchase through Red Bull’s online store.
