Trump insists he’s not speaking to Iran, has offered them nothing: We ‘totally OBLITERATED their nuclear facilities’

President Trump insisted Monday he wasn’t speaking to Iran and has offered them “nothing” — as he doubled down that the US strikes “totally obliterated” Tehran’s nuclear facilities.

Trump lashed out after reports suggested his administration was weighing whether to help Iran access as much as $30 billion to build a civilian-energy-producing nuclear program.

Sen. Chris Coons (D-De.) had also claimed Trump was eyeing a sanctions-relieving deal like one pushed by former President Barack Obama.

“Tell phony Democrat Senator Chris Coons that I am not offering Iran ANYTHING, unlike Obama, who paid them $Billions under the stupid “road to a Nuclear Weapon JCPOA (which would now be expired!), nor am I even talking to them since we totally OBLITERATED their Nuclear Facilities,” Trump said in an overnight Truth Social post.

Trump has repeatedly said the strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities destroyed the nation’s nuclear capabilities.

“It was obliterated like nobody’s ever seen before. And that meant the end to their nuclear ambitions, at least for a period of time,” he told Fox News on Sunday.

Trump, meanwhile, has since threatened to go after lefty outlets — including CNN and the New York Times — after reports last week contradicted his claims that the strikes had wiped out Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

He also suggested potentially coercing the reporters into revealing who leaked them the “low confidence” preliminary Defense Intelligence Agency assessment that said his strikes on Iran may have only set the regime’s nuclear program back by a few months.
