Project Angel Food‘s “Lead With Love 6” telethon, broadcast on KTLA, is bringing together numerous celebrities to support the non-profit’s mission of providing medically tailored meals to critically ill individuals. The telethon, which has become a significant annual event, aims to raise funds to continue and expand Project Angel Food’s vital services.
The “Lead With Love” telethon originated in 2020 during the pandemic as a crucial lifeline and has since evolved into a star-studded tribute to Los Angeles’s compassion and resilience. Over the years, it has featured more than 200 celebrities, including prominent figures like Oprah Winfrey, Elton John, Carol Burnett, Ringo Starr, Sharon Stone, and Magic Johnson, collectively raising millions of dollars.
“Lead With Love 6” will be hosted by KTLA morning anchor Jessica Holmes, with comedian Loni Love and actor Eric McCormack serving as co-hosts. The event highlights stories of resilience and the impact of Project Angel Food’s work.
“General Hospital” actor Cameron Mathison will take viewers on an emotional journey back to the site of his home that was destroyed by the Eaton Fire in Altadena where he will meet a client of Project Angel Food “among the ashes” as they find “the strength, solidarity, and hope that Project Angel Food brings in the face of loss.”
Barbra Streisand, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Annie Lennox, Matt Bomer, Edward James Olmos, Nathan Lee Graham, Lori Loughlin, Steven Weber, and Wilson Cruz are among the many stars who will offer powerful messages to uplift and inspire.
All donations collected during the telethon directly contribute to preparing and delivering medically tailored meals to those most in need.
Project Angel Food also actively seeks volunteers to assist with meal preparation and delivery, client outreach, and other supportive activities, underscoring the community-wide effort behind its mission.
