Dominique Thorne plays Riri Williams, the titular character in the show. Antohny Ramos stars as The Hood. Lyric Ross and Shea Couleé also star alongside Regan Aliyah (XO, Kitty) and more.
What is Ironheart about?
Following the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), Riri Williams is now intent on making her own “iconic” Iron Man-esque suit, but that costs a lot of money, and her quest for funding puts her in contact with a darker side of the typical capital crowd.
What to watch before Ironheart:
The main film to have seen in order to get context for Riri Williams is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). It also may help to have seen Iron Man (2008), and Tony Stark himself Robert Downey Jr. congratulated Thorne on the release of the series multiple times. Last on the list as a bonus is Doctor Strange (2016).
