Daryl Dixon is heading to Spain in the new season of his eponymous The Walking Dead spinoff, premiering on Sunday, September 7 at 9 pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. A new teaser can be found above, and first-look photos below.

In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Norman Reedus) washes ashore in France and struggles to understand how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

The show’s second season, The Book of Carol, picked up where Season 1 left off, following Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier. They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest. Additionally, Genet’s (Anne Charrier) movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.

Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon follows Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) as they continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.

The new season will see three new additions to the series regular cast: Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay. Additional cast includes Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín, and Stephen Merchant.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon‘s third season is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival and Steve Squillante along with Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega from Ánima Stillking.
