By the bottom of the second, it was 3-1 Phillies, but the Mets came alive after that. Francisco Lindor had a solo homer in the third, followed quickly by Nimmo’s second home run of the game. The Mets took the lead with a Juan Soto solo homer in the third, then built on that lead when Soto hit another solo shot in the fifth. The Mets weren’t done homering. In the eighth, Jared Young had a solo home run, then in the ninth, Francisco Alvarez capped things off with his solo homer.
