Elon Musk may be done calling Donald Trump an ingrate and other not-great things on the internet, but he is not done shitposting about other members of the Trump administration. Does this richest person in the world not have better things to do? No, he apparently does not!
Reacting to a story from the *New York Post* that alleges that senior official Sergio Gor has not submitted the necessary paperwork for a permanent security clearance, Musk wrote, “He’s a snake.”

Gor heads the personnel office that oversees vetting and appointments for some 4,000 executive-branch staffers. According to the *Post,* Gor is currently on an interim security clearance; the White House told the outlet that he has “completed” the form necessary for permanent clearance, but did not say when it would be submitted. Gor did not respond to the *Post*’s request for comment.
Musk may be particularly interested in Gor’s paperwork because the two reportedly clashed in the months leading up to Musk’s departure; among other things, Gor is said to have opposed Musk ally Jared Isaacman getting the job leading NASA. (Shortly after Musk left Washington this month, Trump pulled Isaacman’s nomination.)
Musk’s snake post comes two weeks after he took to the internet to call Trump’s signature spending bill a “disgusting abomination”; wrote, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election,” and added, “such ingratitude”; appeared to back a call for Trump to be impeached and removed from office; and declared: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Days later, he wrote that he regretted “some” of the things he’d said, but did not specify what he thought “went too far.” (He did delete the Epstein post, so maybe—but not definitely!—it was that.)
“If” is doing a lot of work here
