Timex continues its celebration of vintage innovation with the release of the Q Timex 1975 Enigma, a reissue that revives the brand’s original “mystery dial” concept.
Building on last year’s Enigma revival, the new models are encased in a 37mm elongated cushion-shaped steel case. Offered in two variants – black and green – the watch hands come in a tonal hue that almost seamlessly matches its dials. The tips of the hands are dipped partially in white, offering a pop of contrast. A matching dot on the underside of the domed acrylic crystal conceals the central post, creating the illusion that the hands are floating freely above the dial — a playful nod to post-Space Age design ingenuity.
Inside beats a quartz movement, which also powers the watch’s day-date complication at 3 o’clock. Each piece is paired with a matching fabric strap, offering a casual, utilitarian feel. In addition, a leather strap option is also available for the black dial model. Priced at $209 USD, all variants of the Q Timex 1975 Enigma are available exclusively via Timex’s webstore.
