Many would jump at the chance to raid Sarah Jessica Parker’s closet — but not her daughters.
Though the “And Just Like That…” star famously has one of the best wardrobes in Hollywood, she revealed in an interview with W Magazine that her 15-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion aren’t particularly interested in her designer pieces.
“They’ll be 16 in June, and they like clothing, but it’s not playing an oversize role in their life,” SJP explained.
“They definitely have ideas about how they want to feel and look when they walk out the door, but they don’t seem particularly distracted [by it],” she said.
Meanwhile, Parker’s beloved collection of shoes is unfortunately no longer an option for the two teens.
“The sad truth is they don’t fit them anymore,” the actress said in the interview. “Their feet are the wrong size, and it’s not going backwards.”
Parker, who has been a bona fide fashion icon since kicking off her decades-long role as Carrie Bradshaw in the late ’90s, admits that she has no style regrets.
“I don’t regret any of it, because what’s the point?” she told the outlet. “I’m sure there is a laundry list of things I should be telling you that were mistakes, whoopsie-daisies, wrong, misguided, unflattering.”
She continued, “All of it has been a gift; all of it has been ridiculous. All of it has been exhausting; all of it has been thrilling. All of it has been like I’m in a world that is just barely based in reality. What is there to regret?”
Spoken like a true Carrie.
