  • My Hero Academia‘s final season teaser trailer is out, offering a glimpse of the series’ final arcs
  • TOHO Animation will host a special panel with cast and creators at the LA Anime Expo on July 5, 2025

TOHO Animation has released a gripping new teaser for My Hero Academia: Final Season, offering an early look at the anime’s climactic conclusion.

Produced by Studio Bones, the final season will adapt the high-stakes “Final War” and “Epilogue” arcs from Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, bringing the long-running saga of Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his classmates at U.A. High School to a dramatic close. The trailer showcases intense confrontations, including Deku’s final showdown with Tomura Shigaraki, as well as the long-awaited battle between All Might and All For One, underscored by sweeping animation and a stirring voiceover: “We’ll weave it together — our will. Our hope.”

Visually, the teaser highlights the series’ signature blend of emotional storytelling and dynamic action, with flashes of familiar faces and new stakes that hint at the emotional weight of the final episodes. Directed by Naomi Nakayama with Kenji Nagasaki returning as chief director, the season continues to explore themes of legacy, sacrifice and the burden of heroism in a society shaped by Quirks. With music by Yuki Hayashi and character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima, the final season promises to deliver a powerful send-off to one of modern anime’s most beloved franchises

To celebrate the final chapter, TOHO will host a My Hero Academia Special Event panel at Anime Expo on July 5, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Attendees can expect exclusive previews, behind-the-scenes insights and reflections on the journey so far. Special guests include Daiki Yamashita, the Japanese voice of Deku; Justin Briner, the English voice of Deku and a Shonen Jump editor closely tied to the manga’s production. Fans will also receive a heartfelt message from creator Kohei Horikoshi, serving as a personal sendoff ahead of the anime’s emotional finale.
