HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — 805 After Five returns Thursday with two special Juneteenth celebration performances.
805 After Five is set to feature the Grammy-winning New Orleans group, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. The group is said to be known for their electrifying blend of jazz, funk and R&B.
“The band promises to bring the spirit of the Big Easy to Butler Green at Campus No. 805,” the City of Huntsville Music Office said.
To start off the night, Vertical House Records will have a DJ set at 5 p.m., followed by local soulful favorite, Karmessa.
“This is a can’t-miss event on your summer soundtrack,” Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella said. “The Dirty Dozen Brass Band have performed in more than 30 countries across five continents, and Huntsville is honored to be on the radar of their world touring efforts.”
805 After Five is free and open to all ages. In addition to music, there will be food and beverage options from Campus No. 805’s on-site venues and vendors.
If you are worried about parking, don’t worry!
