Nicholas Galitzine is hanging up the loincloth and harness after completing his latest project.

On Sunday, the Masters of the Universe star celebrated wrapping production on the Travis Knight-helmed Amazon MGM Studios/Mattel live-action film while teasing a look at his portrayal of He-Man.

“Well, that’s a wrap on Masters of the Universe,” Galitzine wrote on Instagram with a silhouette photo. “It has been an honour shouldering the responsibility of playing Adam and He-Man. It’s been the role of a lifetime and I put everything into it. There’s not much I can show you, but I am so proud of the movie we’ve made. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew for all your hard work.”

In addition to Galitzine, the Chris Buttler-penned movie (from a first draft by first draft by David Callaham, and Aaron and Adam Nee) stars Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto and Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress.

Masters of the Universe follows 10-year old Prince Adam, who crashed to Earth in a spaceship and was separated from his magical Power Sword—the only link to his home on Eternia. After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor. But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man, the most powerful man in the Universe.

The Escape Artists and Mattel Films production hits theaters on June 5, 2026.

In the 1980s toy line and cartoon series, Castle Grayskull is the target of numerous attacks by Skeletor, Hordak and the Snake Men, all of whom believe the secrets inside will allow them to conquer Eternia and the entire universe, thus becoming the Masters of the Universe. The castle is instrumental in the transformation of He-Man.
