PHOENIX — A new pickleball and dining destination called Dink & Dine Pickle Park is set to open later this summer in Mesa.
Dink & Dine Pickle Park is expected to launch its preview phase “First Drink: A Taste to Dine For” on July 30. Full-scale programming, activations and an expanded menu are expected to be rolled out by October 11.
The venue will operate daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The 72,000-square-foot space will be a hybrid hospitality and recreation venue where customers will be able to play pickleball, eat and drink as well as watch live entertainment.
“We set out to build something that didn’t exist in the market — a place where world-class play meets hospitality, community and entertainment,” Co-Founder Ken Gerdau said in a press release. “Every detail at Dink & Dine is designed to deliver an unforgettable experience.”
What else will the new pickleball and dining destination have?
The business will have 10 indoor and three outdoor pickleball courts which were designed for competitive play and feature professional-grade cushioned surfaces, advanced LED lighting and on-court video technology.
There is also a showcase stadium court that is meant to elevate tournament play.
As far as food goes at Dink & Dine Pickle Park, there is a team of seasoned culinary pros that will be making anything from small bites to actual meals. The venue will have seasonal dishes, curated beverages and also host culinary events.
There will also be three private event rooms, a private bar and lounge, a clubhouse with private courts, shaded patios and a pet-friendly park.
The patio will also have fire pits and outdoor games for customers to use.
Dink & Dine Pickle Park’s official pickleball partner is Selkirk.
