Heginz Janvier’s Science Project Company is honing in once again on its “militant minimalism” movement in another staggering presentation of apparel rooted in raw, intentional storytelling. Entitled “Street Soldiers,” the Fall/Winter 2025 foray from the Hypebeast Community Center alum activates some of his most architectural silhouettes yet, curating a collection of innovative military-inspired garments reimagined for everyday wear.
Donned by the likes of Big Sean and Joey Bada$$ among others, Janvier aims to promote the brand through key purveyors of the culture, tapping into what he calls “quiet icons who shape culture from the inside out.” For “Street Soldiers” specifically, the new delivery draws from who Janvier refers to as “everyday heroes,” individuals who “owned their presence growing up in places like North Jersey and NYC.”
Defining the intersection of form and function, Janvier reinvents the classic M65 jacket through the Science Project Company lens, intermingling crisp technical nylon, with brushed canvas layers, all connected via magnetic closure. A range that looks to “sharpen the brand’s ethos into a new uniform of power, presence, and protection,” “Street Soldiers” also features a few other jacket fixtures, including Bomber Form Jackets, Belted Work Overcoats and more stripped-back blazers and zip-up hoodies.
Elsewhere down the line, Janvier curates a lightweight lineup of layerable vests with bottoms including pleated Front Line trousers and earthy-hued Carrier Cargo pants.
